School teacher saw what we had bought for her daughter and recommended it for the rest of the class !

Perfect condition and arrived within good amount of time. I can now use it for my A Level textile revision as it is one of the only things available.

This is a great book for any student, particularly those doing A level. It is very detailed and covers a wide subject spread. Good explanations and user friendly

bought this book for my daughter who has just finished doing A level textiles and used this book for her exams. We were unable to buy the book from school so purchased this from Amazon it has been a bible for her exams and as she has decided to go on and study this at uni was desperate to have this manual.Amazon as always delivered on time and without any fuss

i would defiantly recommend this book for anyone who is studying textiles or fashion. its got great information about everything like fibers and yarns, construction technique - just everything textiles related.Only bad thing i'd say is a bit too wordy- it is a big book though- i'm more of a visual learner and somethimes i do get put off by how wordy the book is.

I had this as a textbook while I was doing my A Levels... it was so useful and when I finished I just needed to get my hands on it... its easy to understand and the information is clear and relevant to modern textiles... So useful!

Have been looking for a book to help me with my alevel textiles course) it is very informative and gives a lot of great tips which can be used further.

The version of the book that I received is obviously just a photocopy of the original!!! It is bound using a cheap plastic binder and is in black and white, not colour. It is just as useful as the original edition but surely it would have been fairer to make buyers aware of what they were paying for; over £20 for a photocopy is a bit excessive to say the least. If my daughter didn't need it for her A level studies I would have sent it back.
