My son loves Diego and we both love story time. One of the things that makes story time enjoyable is the quality of stories that we read. This book is entertaining and easy for him (2 1/2 yo) to follow along with but it isn't a joy to read, lacks flow (that Dr. Suess and many other children's books focus on) and is not his favorite despite his love of the cartoon and toys. It's a great "once in a while" story but as for the nightly reads, educational stories, and structured books in his stack this one is lacking in "magic" and "meat."

This book is really great. My grandkids 2 and 4 years old are never tired of me reading this story. They really listen to me reading this story and they are fascinated by Diego and the mane wolf Pup. they ask me to read this book everytime I am with them again and again.

This is a book of the first Diego episode, so it has Dora visiting her cousin Diego and his sister Alicia. Unfortuanetly, Baby Jaguar had not been introduced yet, so he's not in this book, and the Bobo Brothers are not in it either. It does include Click, Rescue Pack, and Alicia. It teaches about animal noises, counting, and matching (the footprints). It is great for toddlers- my 2 year old LOVES it, and I think most toddlers who like the series (in book or TV form) will enjoy this book as well.

This was a Christmas gift for my grandson who was two years old at the time. He loved Dora and Diego stories, seeing them on the Nick Jr. stations.AAC

The Dora and Diego items are great because they encourage a sense of helping and caring about the world. My niece loves this books. I gave it to her with the Go Diego Go! Rescue Pack and they went together well. These books are very portable so she can look through them while on car trips and take them with her to friend's houses.

My 5-yr-old daughter really enjoys watching Diego on TV, so this book was a big hit with her. I love how she learns so much about animals.
